St. Anne’s Evening College is affiliated to Bangalore University. It was established in 2011 by the Society of Sisters of St. Anne-madras. The Sisters of St. Anne have committed themselves to train and form the young men and women into morally strong individuals and socially responsible citizens who in turn take part in the vision of the college in working for the evolution of a just society and creating a new society. The College is owned by the Society of Sisters of St. Anne a minority body registered under Societies Regulation Act (1860), having its office at Vinaya Sadan, T. C. Palya, Bangalore – 560 036.

With the intention of helping the young boys and girls who start working after their PUC to support their family in realizing their dream of getting into higher education institutions, the evening college came to consciousness. The Society of sisters of St. Anne obtained the requisite approval from Bangalore University vide order No. ACA-3/A1/SAEC/NC/2009-10 dated 08/12/2009 to open Evening College in the name “St. Anne’s Evening College”. While the day college is exclusively for girls, in the evening college both boys and girls are admitted. The college started functioning from the academic year 2011-12 with 21 students enrolling for B.Com course. In the next years the admission to evening college has considerably improved.
